Q: What dilution technology is used?

The TO-Evolution uses proprietary technology, using calibrated restrictions, minimizing internal volume and providing ultra fast response in dilution changes.

Q: What air system is used?

An air compressor system is needed to provide the dilution air for the olfactometer.  Size of the compressor system will depend on the number of sniffing stations.

Q: How much sample volume is required?

In normal operation, the olfactometer needs 8-10 Liters of sample.  For a 6-station dual-forced-choice with a presentation time of 15-seconds per dilution step for each assessor, it can be necessary to use a higher sample volume for low odor concentration samples.
